The original name is Abu nawas is ali al-hasan bin Hani al-ahkam.He was born in 145H (747M) in the city oh ahvaz in persia with the blood of an Arab father and persian mother flowing in his body. The name of his father Hani al-ahkam was a member of the military legion of the Marwan II. And his mather was named Jalban, a persian woman who worked as a woolen cloth wasked .from childhood he was orphaned the mother then took him to Basrah . In this city Abu nawas studied various sciences.

 His youth was full of controversial behavior which made Abu nawas appear as a unique figure.Even so the poems are also loaded with spirutual values .Abu nawas studied literature to Abu zaid al-anshari and Abu ubaidah. As for the caliph Harun al-rasyid , he has a close relation ship with Abu nawas ,while Abu nawas is some one who likes to drink liquor, likes to listen to music, dance and do other things, for example, so that the caliphs do it all because of their proximity to Abu nawasds.

 Abu nawas died when he was (57-58),while the work of Abu nawas was a poet , Abu nawas is considered one of the greatest poets he also portrayed as a wise and hilarious figure. Abu nawas also appeared several times in the story of " one thousand and one nights" ine one of the stories he had pretended to be crazy because he wanted to be a cadre after hearing his father's will by reding a banana trunk like piggyback he was also often challenged by king Harun al-rasyid and his friends with strange things. Risky and even imposible such as moving the king's palace to the hill.

 During his meeting with the kufah poets , walibah bin habab al-asadi, had broken down the style of his language and brought it to the summit of the arab empire. This walibah was very interested in the talent of Abu nawas then below him to kufah. In the kufah Abu nawas in the shepherd , living with the arabs of badui to deepen them selves as great poets.

 Abu nawas also like to the play words with a high sense of humor as if it were a legend in the treasures of world civilization. One time Abu nawas  read the poem of the caravan of the Bani mudhar who was thought to oftend the caliph. Of course the caliph is angry with Abu nawas.
